Since our launch over the summer we've been overwhelmed with amazing support and feedback from producers, DJs and the wider pro-audio press. We're delighted that so many people are digging what we do and we're proud to be able to share some of our recent press reviews below.
House For Heads is a royalty-free loops and sample pack that mixes house, deep house and tech-house influences. From classic Chicago house to modern UK bass house, it's varied collection that has the real house heads excited! Recently reviewed by Computer Music, they summed it up as "an exciting, floor-shaking hybrid house library that impresses and inspires at every turn. 9/10."
Analogue Techno was our first techno sample pack and we went for a classic, timeless approach with it. Referencing the likes of Basic Channel, Belleville Three, James Holden and Matthew Jonson, this pack is all about the high-end analogue sound sources and authentic techno aesthetics. Music Tech gave it their Excellence Award and a 10/10 score. They simply said, "The production throughout is excellent, with movement, detail and precision in every single loop and hit. Anyone interested in deep, cutting-edge techno and electronica should definitely take a look."
Real Deep is our latest deep house sample pack loaded with inspiring loops and one-shots. In a world overloaded with generic deep house samples we wanted to do something different. Inspired by more idiosyncratic artists such as DJ Koze, Fritz Wentink and Axel Boman, we put an emphasis on analogue sounds, original found sound recordings and detailed sound processing. Computer Music liked what they heard, stating that ""sampleware newcomers UNDRGRND Sounds are making quite the first impression! And the positivity continues with this action-packed deep house collection. 9/10."
Our Grime 2.0 also pushed the right buttons with the guys over at Computer Music. They gave it a 10/10 rating and declared it "a modern classic in the making", which is a label what sits well with us! With this grime sample pack we really wanted to reflect the diversity of the forward-thinking grime sound that is proliferating right now. Whether it's the hard-hitting grime beats, synths or bass, we hope you agree too!
